2 Days 1 Night Mikumi Itinerary
Day 1: Zanzibar to Mikumi National Park
Early morning flight from Zanzibar to Mikumi. Upon arrival, meet your professional driver-guide and begin your first game drive through the savannah. Spot elephants, giraffes, lions, zebras, wildebeests, buffaloes, hippos, and many bird species. Enjoy a hot lunch or picnic inside the park. Continue with an afternoon game drive, exploring different parts of the park such as the famous Mkata floodplain. In the evening, check in at your lodge or tented camp inside or near the park. Dinner and overnight stay surrounded by the sounds of the African wilderness.
Day 2: Mikumi National Park to Zanzibar
Wake up early for a sunrise game drive, the best time to see predators and grazing animals. Capture stunning photos of wildlife against the golden African sunrise. Return to the lodge for breakfast. After a short rest, enjoy another game drive or cultural village visit (optional). Lunch and transfer to the airstrip for your afternoon flight back to Zanzibar.
